Viva Décor Pardo Translucent Polymer Clay
One of the most translucent oven hardening polymer clays on the market. The colours are bright, clear, and intensify with baking. Sanding and buffing the cured Pardo Clay creates a special translucent effect
This clay is translucent, meaning the light will shine through.
There are 8 colours in the Translucent range.
Features:
- Colours are intermixable to create new colours
- Light shows through
- Colour shifts to a darker colour on baking / curing.
- Extremely strong and flexible
Baking Instructions - Bake Pardo in a pre-heated oven at 120° C (248°F) for 30 minutes. Baking the translucent colours at a hotter than recommended temperature gives better translucency (prior testing always recommended).
New to Pardo:
Experienced polymer clay makers or artists adapt to Pardo easily. Unlike other brands of polymer clay, Pardo is manufactured from beeswax. It makes the clay soft and malleable but needs to be warmed in order to perform well, especially in a cold room. To condition Pardo polymer clay, it is best to warm using your hands and an acrylic roller, before attempting to put it in a pasta machine. If not conditioned sufficiently, it will be crumbly.
